There is Nothing More Important Than Safety!
Just because antennas are put up in an emergency, does not mean we should cut corners on safety. Never work on an antenna by yourself. Small verticals require two people. Small beams on low towers require at least three people. Always wear two safety belts when climbing a tower. Have an experienced ham advise you if such a ham is unavailable to participate in the antenna work. Appoint someone, even a non-ham to be the Safety Officer whose sole job it is to watch and stop the antenna party from doing anything unsafe.
